We have been really busy over the last few months (you know, all that pesky PhD stuff) and now we are really really lazy. As a result I have neglected my In and Out post duty, but when I saw the pics from the Snow White and the Huntsman premier I knew that we needed a goth glam post STAT. Now some of you may know I am obsessed with Goth Glam (Gucci FW 2012… I die) but goth can soooo easily go wrong. As an example, I present to you goth glam done right (Charlize) vs. goth glam gone so wrong (KStew). As you can see, Charlize is a goddess. Dior Couture. I mean duh. The sheer skirt! The dramatic eye! The severe hair! I’m obsessed. KStew on the other hand is one hot mess. WTF is that dress. No. I usually love Marchesa but this does not work on KStew. It would be ridiculous amazing on say, Porcelain Black because she is statuesque and a badass, but on KStew it looks like something from the Hot Topic Couture collection.
