RT reports that the Russian Foreign Ministry has lashed out against US Ambassador Michael McFaul over remarks he made on ALLEGED bribes Moscow made to Kyrgyzstan to close the Manas airbase. I for one am SHOCKED at these allegations…the Russian government USING BRIBES!? Preposterous! Anyway the Foreign Ministry said it was “extremely perplexed” (heh) by McFaul’s comments, which he made a meeting with students of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. McFaul then replied via Twitter (how Kardashian of him!) that he “is still learning the craft of speaking more diplomatically” which is basically diplomatic code for BITCH PLEASE! As far as twitter wars go this is pretty tame stuff, but I guess we have to take what we can get in the world of Russian politics.
